Building a Holz Hausen

First layer:  outside is built so it tilts inward, inside layer is stacked vertically.
Everyone needs a picture like this in the family album!


Second layer:  I'm standing on the first inner layer, second layer inside is also vertical.



Third layer is already pretty tall!

    Now does it get a little roof on top or something?

    Some people cover the top with bark, but we are thinking that we may cover the top with a little tarp, maybe 8 X 8 or something like that.
